Sharon Spellacy Schroeder, 75, passed away on August 14, 2022 from natural causes at her home in the Villages, FL. Born in Bangor, ME on February 18, 1947 she was one of four girls born to Robert Spellacy and Eileen Spellacy Rowan.
She is survived by her children Christina Rioux of Port Alto, Texas and Alexandria Hampton of Marble Falls, Texas; her sisters Eileen (Cici) Underwood and husband Neil, Susan Power and husband Tom of Hampton, N.H. Peggy Bean and husband Bob of Hampton, N.H., as well as grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is also survived by several close friends that she loved dearly.
As she got older those circle of friends became like family. She always sent out cards, made everyone’s birthday special, was there for a listening ear and support. She had close friends in New Hampshire, Florida, Texas, California and New Zealand.
Among her many talents she was an avid gardener, artist of many different mediums including painting, collage, shell design, and a lover of nature. She always had a window sill full of sea glass, shells, rocks, feathers and flowers. She took care of her “creatures” as she called them, leaving seed and nuts for each special one who knew her by sight.
Sharon was very spiritual and this is a quote from Abraham Hicks:
Death is not a bad thing. We all make the transition home one day. But a joyous thing when we discover Heaven is not so far away.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at Hampton Beach on Oct 1 at The Lady Of The Sea monument at 11:40 and followed by a Life Celebration at the Ashworth at noon.
